Sacramento, CA – May 12, 2015 – (BUSINESS WIRE)– Quest® a technology management firm and leading hosting solutions provider, today announced it has attained the Microsoft Gold Hosting Competency. With “best-in-class” ability and a commitment to meet Microsoft Corp. customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment, Quest distinguishes itself within the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem.
“As a hosting solution provider with more than 30 years of experience, which includes a relationship with Microsoft that is nearly as long, we are excited to be continuing in this partnership as it demonstrates a commitment to help our customers achieve the IT capabilities they want and need,” said Tim Burke, Quest President and CEO. “Quest provides flexible hosting options including on-premise, in the Cloud at one of our over two dozen global Service Delivery Centers, or a hybrid solution–all of which are complemented by Quest achieving the Microsoft Gold Hosting Competency.”
To earn a Microsoft Gold Competency, partners must successfully complete exams (resulting in Microsoft Certified Professionals) to prove their level of technology expertise, and then designate these certified professionals uniquely to one Microsoft competency, ensuring a certain level of staffing capacity. They also must submit customer references that demonstrate successful projects (along with implementing a yearly customer satisfaction study), meet a revenue commitment (for most gold competencies), and pass technology and/or sales assessments.
The certification recognizes the hosting capabilities of Quest. By guaranteeing high standards of reliability, maximum service availability and uninterrupted power supply backed up by stringent Service Level Agreements, Quest ensures the resiliency of its customers’ IT infrastructure, enabling them to focus on their key business competencies.
The Microsoft Gold Competency signifies to the market that a company has demonstrated the highest level of skill and achievement within a given technology specialization. All Microsoft competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s specific technology capabilities, helping customers find solution providers quickly and easily. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the industry.
The Microsoft Partner Network is designed to equip organizations that deliver products and services based on the Microsoft platform with the training, resources and support they need to provide their customers a superior experience and outcomes.
