Wondering how to get started?

Quest offers a Cloud Migration Workshop to help you discover the information you need to operate seamlessly and securely in the cloud. Quest’s Cloud Migration Workshop helps you think through the workloads and applications you should migrate to or use in the cloud and determine how to maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery services and standards.

Taking part in a Quest Cloud Migration Workshop will help you review your current technology landscape against your business and financial goals and determine the necessary next steps and timelines for success in the cloud – public, private, or a combination of the two.

Quest’s Managed Cloud Infrastructure Services

Quest is an expert at providing and managing private, public, and hybrid-cloud IT services. Our global Service Delivery Centers offer safe and secure environments for any industry while meeting or exceeding regulatory requirements. Quest’s Managed Cloud Infrastructure services include:

Desktop Virtualization

Do your employees complain that their office and home computers lack the flexibility and capabilities to maintain productivity? Struggling with too many desktop and device security issues, while under pressure to expand the use of employee owned devices? Trying to figure out how to pay for that latest Windows migration?

Those ‘yes’ answers are telling you the time has come to reevaluate your desktop strategy. After all, for most organizations, physical desktop computer infrastructures no longer make sense. They’re expensive, insecure, and maintenance-intensive and they cannot adequately meet today’s changing business requirements.

Quest’s Desktop Virtualization encompasses Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Desktops as a Service (DaaS) solutions, both of which make it possible for remote users to interact with applications and services as if they were on local machines. Quest can help identify which solution is the best fit for your organization to simplify deployment, improve security, centralize management, and deliver the high-performance experience that your end users expect without high capital costs and unending management hassles.

Building, provisioning, and delivering desktops has never been easier or more affordable.

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

Your IT resources must be positioned to help your business realize its financial and strategic objectives — something that’s difficult to achieve when you’re burdened with the complexities and limitations of a traditional data center.

Today’s data centers need to support a highly mobile workforce, a proliferation of devices both physical and virtual, and increasingly data-driven business models. Data centers also must seamlessly incorporate cloud applications and services that are likely to scale dramatically and unpredictably.

It all adds up to Quest IaaS, a data center architecture that dynamically unites computing, networking, storage, and management into an intelligent, fabric-based infrastructure able to automate deployment and management across physical and virtual resources for superior delivery of IT as a cloud-based service.

As the foundation of our many cloud offerings, Quest’s IaaS is a scalable standards-based design, leveraging technology to optimize performance, automation and capacity. Deployed in our network of global Service Delivery Centers, Quest's IaaS is ready 24/7 to bring you a secure, unified, intelligent architecture that you pay for out of your OpEx budget, not CapEx.

All the IT you need, when and where you need it.

Platform as a Service (PaaS)

Quest’s PaaS provides a dedicated platform allowing you to develop, run, and manage data and applications without the complexity of building and maintaining an infrastructure. Quest’s PaaS includes cloud services for compute, analytics, storage, and networking. Choose the services you need to develop and scale new applications, or run existing applications, in your cloud.

With Quest PaaS, the overall development of your application can be more effective, as it has built-in ramping infrastructure resources to make maintenance and enhancement of your application easier.

Quickly deploy, host, and scale your applications and data.

Sofware-defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN)

Businesses have traditionally relied on complex WAN infrastructure to connect their users to email, CRM, legacy, voice and video applications, and to move data over long distances for branch sites and disaster recovery. As cloud applications become more pervasive and users want to access these applications from anywhere, network administrators must add bandwidth and provide higher level SLAs between these services and their users. Add on the high cost of MPLS network connectivity and IT is quickly realizing that they need to reevaluate their WAN strategies and architecture.

By transitioning to SD-WAN, businesses are able to reduce their dependency on expensive MPLS connectivity and improve application performance, visibility, management, and security. SD-WAN is a virtual WAN architecture that decouples the network management function from the physical hardware using a centralized controller to set policies and prioritize network traffic.

Quest's SD-WAN provides the flexibility to leverage any combination of transport services, including broadband internet, to securely connect users to applications. SD-WAN makes it possible to centrally assign policies to secure and control the WAN traffic and measure the Quality of Service (QoS) being provided (loss, latency, jitter). In real-time, Quest’s SD-WAN can select the best path for each application across the network connections of your choice, including MPLS, wireless LTE, DSL, and cable.
